Media Services
The Media Services program provides audiovisual equipment and specialized software for video editing and simulations.
Audiovisual Equipment for loan includes:
Digital cameras
Digital camcorders
LCD projectors
Overhead projectors
Portable flipcharts and whiteboards
VHS to DVD recorder
Specialized software offerings include: Sony Vegas Movie Studio for video editing and Macromedia Captivate for simulations.
We are also equipped with 16 computers, a laser printer, and two scanners.
Please remember that equipment is available to support student and faculty class-related projects on campus only.
Reserve equipment at least 24-hours in advance of your presentation or assignment deadline. At certain times during a session, equipment is in demand for senior projects, CARD presentations, etc.
AV Equipment Loan Forms must be completed and signed each time you use DeVry equipment. It is your responsibility to return equipment in good working condition. All equipment must be returned to TLC no later than 8:30p.m.
AV Production Request Forms are available for school-related projects. The TLC follows educational copyright guidelines for the duplication of video materials and use of images. Avoid plagiarism by citing the original source and obtaining permission of the author when creating multimedia presentations using PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, or MS Publisher.
