Skillstutor.com provides online skill instruction in reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, math, algebra, and science. Students are able to monitor and improve their performance on the post-tests provided at the end of each module. The Learning Center added Discovery Education with 7,800 educational videos to its web-based resource collection for South Florida students.o resource). Online streaming videos are similar to the DVD/Video Collection currently available in our Learning Center. One advantage of streaming videos is that you can access these web based instructional videos from any computer, including home. Streaming videos help you visualize concepts. Discovery Education includes: instructional videos in Math (Basic, pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus), English (Grammar, Sentence Structure, and Composition), Library Research, Test Taking & Study Skills, Reading Skills, Economics and Business, and Science (Physics, Biology, Biomechanics, and Electricity).
