Professional Development Workshops
Professional development and training are a major investment into any organization's number one resource, its employees. DeVry seeks to assist with these needs through our university-sponsored Professional Development Series.  Workshops topics may include "Team Building Exercises," "Web Design," "Effective Communication," "Change Management" and much more. Workshops will be held at the DeVry campus or can be facilitated on site at your location.

Financial Aid Workshops
Financing a college education is a major part of the decision making process. DeVry University along with our partners in the financial industry can customize a wide variety of work-shops including "Financing A College Education" and "What's FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid ) and "What Does it Mean To You" Workshops can be customized for community-based organizations, Church's or schools in Dade and Broward county.

Campus Field Trips/Tours
DeVry University invites the community to explore our campus. Our high school open house includes campus tours, hands-on workshops, lab experiences, and college and career planning sessions. Tours for community organizations can also be accommodated as requested.

HerWorld
Targeted at young women, this workshop educates and excites regarding opportunities in the field of technology. The "HerWorld Network" sets the stage with unique versions of popular TV programs through which participants will learn that careers in business, technology are exciting and rewarding. The discussions and activities challenge participants to employ creative-thinking skills in a team-based environment.

Educator Resources
The DeVry University fellowship program for educators allows eligible participants to take coursework at 60% of the prevailing tuition rate for all undergraduate and graduate credits. The program includes coursework taught at any of the three South Florida locations or online.

Accounting World
This one-day workshop exposes students to basic principles of finance and managerial accounting. Through hands-on activities, students learn about opportunities available in one of the fastest growing career fields.

FIRST Robotics
For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) is a national robotics competition for high school students. DeVry University faculty and students offer technical help with programming, electronics, and web design. DeVry also hosts events to assist both new and veteran teams in the pre-season before the national conference. Let DeVry help your school start a FIRST program.
